Job description
As an Off-cycle Intern, you will provide ongoing support to the investment team with tasks such as:
- Deep dive into emerging technologies and sectors to gather market insights and build internal theses. Create market maps for potential investment opportunities
- Dealflow sourcing: attend online events, source and present dealflow lists, establish relationships with different stakeholders of the ecosystem
- Participate in weekly dealflow meetings with the whole investment team
- Play an active role in the investment opportunities that you are involved in, join internal debates and share your perspective. Prepare and participate in entrepreneur calls
- Manage internal data sets. Keep the documentation up to date by helping and owning different admin tasks
Requirements
- Curious, motivated and enthusiastic, self-starter and autonomous, confident with gravitas and strong values
- Excellent academic track record from a top-tier school
- Prior work experience in a highly driven environment (startup, consulting, investment banking or a VC fund) is an advantage
- Well-rounded, with strong communication / interpersonal and analytical skills
- Hungry to learn about emerging sectors, innovative technologies and new business models
- Language skills: ****English (professional), another European language is an advantage
